Moving BRE?

Posted by Mac1776 on May 21, 2013 at 1:15pm 9 Comments

So I am most likely moving at the end of the year.

I will not purchase the BRE package.

I'm getting mixed signals on whether I will have a choice in this.

I've been an agent for 10 years.

Thoughts?

Where do they go?

I haven’t received any notifications for some time that someone has gone to my website and worked on a quote.  I check My Work Items, and nothing there either.  I used to get a couple of week.

So finally waking up and realizing this, I went to my website last week and did a quote (real person, real info with their permission, who’s not an AS customer).  Finished the quote and saved it.  Put in my personal email and my personal phone #.  Then waited.

Mourning The Loss of a Friend - RIP Mic Billingsley - You Will Be Missed

Posted by Ron Tocki (San Diego, Ca) on May 13, 2013 at 4:46pm 7 Comments

I just received word from his daughter that a great friend, former EA and former MDL Michael Billingsley passed away over the weekend.  Mic and I have been friends for over 25 years and it breaks my heart that he passed away at the young age of 54.  He's survived by the lights of his life, his beautiful daughters Devyn and Rian.  He loved his girls more than life itself and was as proud of them as any father could be.

I'm glad we found some time to have lunch together on Friday.  I…

How much is enough.

Posted by Ray Ochs on April 17, 2013 at 2:44pm 2 Comments

I remember when I bought my agency 8 years ago - I was told to work hard, pay it off and then you can relax and enjoy your clients, your employees and have a good life.  I could live very comfortably on what I had left when all bills were paid.  I was content -- and then .....

An American investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked.  Inside the small boat were several…
